As Java Jive, we like to play our music with a jazzy, swinging style. Our unique sound combines female vocal harmony with a solid foundation of upright bass, jazz guitar, woodwinds and percussion. We play songs from the 30's and 40's written or made famous by greats such as Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, and Nat King Cole.
To liven things up we also include gems from other eras and genres by artists such as The Beatles, Queen, Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys, and Van Morrison.
